"In
Developing Interdependence, Brent Phillips approaches this
subject systematically without allowing the student the luxury
of favoring a weak foot. Mastery of any or all of them will
open up many creative avenues for the serious drum set player."

"You
have written two fine books and they progress quite logically.
Your approach of interdependence implies a new concept and
I like it."

Developing
Interdependence Vol.2
By Brent G. Phillips
Some of you may have already heard of this series, but for
those of you that haven't, you are missing a gem of information.
Developing Interdependence Vol.2 explores Independence and
Interdependence through a multitude of jazz exercises. Brent
gives over 700 examples in triplets, eighths and 16ths. Fans
of Jim Chapin's Book Advanced Techniques Vol.1, will appreciate
the complexity and musical application of these patterns.
A must have for aspiring jazz drummers and anyone wanting
to have total control of Independence and Interdependence.
